Some of the Places I have been

Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, New york USA, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Sicily, Germany, Latvia, Greece, China, Turkey, Serbia, Ukraine, Poland, Indonesia, Ireland Dublin & a few more.

So above are some of the places i’ve been, there are more but to be honest i forget some places, first world problems huh. My whole mission with this website is to give real, honest and useful information to those wanting to travel or simply visit somewhere. I see so much crap out there and articles clearly written by people who haven’t even been, it’s just an article written with some general internet research and stolen pictures. Below is a brief run down of many of my visited places but not all. I will then dive deeper into the more interesting places and really let you all know the best bits and tips from someone who has actually been.

Singapore

  1. Food: Look, the text book answer here would be to list a load of restaurants from internet research including michelin starplaces and $100 a head places, im not going to do that because who wants to know that, if you are travelling for that reason i doubt youre reading my pages. Singapore does have great food and lots of great places to eat without spending the earth. Drink can be very expensive here and by that i mena alcohol. After 10pm you can no longer buy it in the shops and they are strict on that as i found out when being yelled at quite agresiveley by a shop keeper when trying to buy it on the dot of 10. Buying in a bar is mad expensive. For food food head down to the marina area where the gardens byt the bay are, you know the big light up trees. Around there you will find local markets of food for every taste.
  2. As far as landmarks and typical touristy things to do are: Your main points of interest here are going to be the famous ones, the marina bay hotel, the gardens by the bay. That whole area is beautiful and you can waste hours if not days looking around there. The city also has many old buildings left over from the days other countries ruled the area. Its somewhere i enjoyed just wondering around. Little tip, if you head to the marina barrage and sustainability centre near the gardens on the bay area you can get some great sunset views. The whole city has great architecture and really has old and new building to please all. The subway is fantastic, easy and cheap to navigate so make the most of it as the whole city feel very safe and friendly.

The city has lots of little areas, such as Little India and Chinatown

Green spaces are really where this city excels, the gardens by the bay, Rail Corridor, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Jurong Lake Gardens, Singapore Botanic Gardens which was one of my favourites Plant lovers of all stripes will weaken at the knees upon entering this Eden-like garden. The only tropical garden to be listed as a Unesco World Heritage site, its 74 hectares are home to a staggering 10,000 different plant species. Now a world-leading centre for research and plant conservation, the botanical wonderland is furnished with emerald lawns, glassy lakes and a rare patch of primeval rainforest, as well as the world’s largest orchid collection. Monitor lizards, roosters and otters are just some of the animals to be found roaming freely around the grounds – guard your food carefully if you pitch up with a picnic.#

MacRitchie Reservoir, East Coast Park

And garden by the bay area. https://www.visitsingapore.com/editorials/singapores-iconic-green-spaces/

These are just a few of the many reasons to visit Singapore. In my opinion the best things about this place are the food, the friendly nature of locals and the masses of green areas you can spends days walking around in.
